Journalist Jailed in Iran

Roxana Saberi, a journalist from North Dakota who also holds Iranian citizenship, has been sentenced to 8 years in an Iranian jail, the Associated Press (AP) reports . Few details have emerged from the closed door court where Saberi appeared on Monday. In a statement, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton indicates the U.S. government is working with the Swiss Protecting Presence to learn more about the trial and sentence as well as to ensure Saberi's well-being.
